Our Story

Renovations Built on Integrity

Honest Renovations was founded on a belief that the renovation industry needed something it too often lacks: honesty. Co-founders Jaswant Dhillon and Kulwant Sandhu combined their decades of hands-on experience to build a company where every client is treated with respect, every budget is taken seriously, and every project is completed with the same pride they would put into their own homes.

With over 50 years of combined experience between them, Jaswant and Kulwant bring deep expertise across the full range of residential renovation trades — plumbing, electrical, drywall, tiling, painting, and custom cabinetry and millwork. Their trusted team extends that expertise to painting, flooring, landscaping, gas fitting, appliance installation, and millwork, giving clients a single point of contact for every aspect of their renovation.

Jaswant Dhillon

Jaswant brings decades of hands-on trade experience to every project Honest Renovations undertakes. His deep background in plumbing and electrical systems forms the technical backbone of the company's renovation work, ensuring every project is built right from the inside out. Jaswant is known among clients for his straightforward communication and his unwavering commitment to doing the job properly — never cutting corners, never leaving a detail unfinished.

His approach is simple: treat every client's home the way he would want his own treated. That standard of care runs through every project he oversees, from the roughest rough-in work to the final finishing touches.

Kulwant Sandhu

Co-Founder

Kulwant's expertise spans drywall, tiling, and custom millwork — the crafts that define the finished look of any renovation. With years of experience working on projects of every scale across Metro Vancouver, he has developed a refined eye for detail and a standard of finish work that clients consistently describe as exceptional. Kulwant oversees the quality of every build, ensuring that what homeowners see when the work is done reflects the highest level of craftsmanship.

His philosophy is that great renovation work should be invisible — the result should look and feel like it was always meant to be there. That pursuit of seamless, lasting quality defines everything Kulwant builds.

Electrical

Our electrical expertise covers panel work, circuit additions, pot light installation, under-cabinet and outdoor lighting, and full electrical rough-ins for new spaces. Safety and compliance are non-negotiable — every electrical job we do is performed to BC Electrical Code. Drywall

Hanging, taping, mudding, and finishing — drywall is one of the most skill-dependent trades in renovation work, and it shows in the final result.
